Personal Ramblings

The Blog is 2 months old as of today. This literally is my first post here. My friends have been doing a great job updating the blog all through the week. Thank You Jesse, Cathy, Rick and Mary. You guys have been fantastic.

Did I have a vision when I started the blog? Nope. None. It was meant to be personal, a place for my thoughts and BLAH BLAH. Well, things changed when one of the posts was stumbled by someone and the blog received nearly 105,000 visitors and nearly 1000 subscribers. That is when the vision occurred.

I sat down and planned it with my friends above and a blueprint was born. It was the first step to a series of plans and more vision. BLAH BLAH.

The beginning of last week witnessed the launch of the Lifeskills section. Mary Anne Smith, my friend for sometime now, joined us to take over this section. Last weekend, I moved the political content to it’s own section;Politics. Jesse Graham and Cathy Parker take care of this section. The Weird Ramblings section is our main attraction and is taken care by a writer who, at this point remains to be anonymous.

Thus, a blog started with personal intentions expanded in a manner never conceived before. I now have a solid vision for this whole setup, the first of which is the name. Weird Media Network.

Where am I headed from here?

I won’t be taking active part in the blog due to my job. Yep, my job comes first under any circumstance. I have a commitment to fulfill and fortunately, I love my job. The blog will be updated as usual. I will write in the personal section once in a while/when there is something interesting to share. I will be launching a gadgets and games section soon. I should have done it by now, but as I said, my job is my first priority.
